World's Most Expensive Magna Carta Document at $21.3 Million

A rare 710 years old copy of the
Magna Carta is one of the most important historical documents that was auctioned at a whopping $21.3 million. This royal document, revered as the birth certificate of freedom, was bought by a Washington businessman who said he was determined to see it remain in the United States, where it has been on display at the National Archives and Records Administration since 1988.
