Fattail Scorpion, World's Deadliest Scorpion

While the fat-tailed scorpions (the common name given to scorpions of the genus Androctonus) is not the most venomous scorpion, it is the deadliest. Causing several deaths per year. Their venom contains powerful neurotoxins and is especially potent. These moderate sized scorpion, attaining lengths of 10 cm, are found throughout the semi-arid and arid regions of the Middle-East and Africa.
