World's Worst Mouse Plague, Australia, 1993

In 1993, the Southern Region of Australia experienced the world's worst mouse plague which cost $70 million dollars of lost crops, livestocks and properties. The plague lasted 6 months and ended in just a matter of days after the government put poison in the affected region.
