Nintendo's Wii Sports, New World's Best-selling Video Game Ever

In only two years and two months, Nintendo's Wii Sports is now the new world's best-selling video game ever. It surpasses the previous record holder Super Mario Bros. The data is based on cumulative worldwide sales of Wii Sports ending the week of December 27, 2008.
Super Mario Bros sold more than 40.24 million units from the mid 1980's to date. In that same timespan Wii Sports will really be way ahead of for the former record holder.
