With body length ranging from 14-to-16-centimeters, the Pygmy Marmoset is the world's smallest monkey. This tiniest of all monkeys is a native of the rainforest canopies of western Brazil, southeastern Colombia, eastern Ecuador, and eastern Peru. The males of the specie weigh around 140 grams, and females only 120 grams.

The Pygmy Marmoset has a tawny coat, and a ringed tail that can be as long as its body. In common with other Callitrichinids, it has claws instead of nails on all its digits except the big toe. They are omnivorous, feeding on fruit, leaves, insects, and sometimes even small reptiles. Their small weight allows them to reach the very highest leaves of a tree, and to exploit the otherwise little- used food sources there.

The tattoo artist name Sam Hacker claimed that Michael Duplessis, the customer, knew that it was Chi-Tonw and not Chi-Town that was being tattooed on him. To which Duplessis denied.

“I was looking at each letter like an individual work of art, not at the spelling,” he said. “I guess he wasn’t either. I showed him the drawing, he said it was perfect. Then he paid me. I stenciled it onto him, he checked it in the mirror and he said, `Let’s do it.’.”

Ray Moon of Australia is not your average bodybuilder because he is the world's oldest bodybuilder. He is 80 years old this year. Ray still actively competes in bodybuilding competition for the 70-above division of which he is a champion.

Before becoming a champion bodybuilder, Ray has had polio, open heart surgery, suffered a cardiac arrest, was pronounced clinically dead and is even fitted with a pacemaker.

"Giving up never won a race - that's what I tell myself and it works," said.

"A few years ago I really hit a wall, lost everything. I walked passed this gym (Athletique Health Club) in Preston, saw a sign and so I went on up.

Shigeo Tokuda, a 74 years old retiree from Japan is the world's oldest porn star. After retiring, Shigeo Tokuda got bored of just staying at home and decided to pursue a career in the film industry. He has now starred in more than 250 porn films in his over 14 years career and his producers are planning to sell his cds/dvds to other countries.

“Lately I’m also starring as the main actor in a porn series set in a senior-care home. The girl that I’m costarring with might play my son’s wife, a daughter of a relative that I happen to be looking after, or a helper at one of the care homes.”

Ahad Israfil is one extraordinary kid worthy of being included in The XO Directory. This kid looses half of his brain and skull in a shooting incident. He was only 14 years old them. He survived the injury but his head was like a deflated basketball. After many surgeries, his head was reconstructed and was back to normal in shape.

Born on March 7, 1990, Abby and Brittany Hensel of Minnesota, USA are two extraordinary conjoined twins. They have two spines and separate half-sacrums, which converge distally within a slightly broad pelvis. They also have two separate hearts, one in each side of the chest, and each has it’s own set of lungs. They each control and sense their corresponding arm and leg. At birth, they had a third arm but was a useless and so it was removed when they were young.



Abby and Brittany is the only surviving dicephalus twins in the world today. Though they are conjoined, the girls has act independently of each other that when they applied for their driver's license, each one took the test, and passed. But they can also act amazingly as one. They can walk, run, ride a bicycle and a lot more a single person do.

In conversation, they are clearly distinct persons, with distinct likes and dislikes. Despite sharing a body, the twins' preferences in food, clothing color, etc. differ. Some of their clothes are altered by their seamstress so that they have two separate necklines in order to emphasize their individuality. They will usually have separate meals, but sometimes will share a single meal for the sake of convenience (e.g., each takes a bite of the same hamburger). Abigail is better at mathematics and Brittany is better at writing.

Researchers found out the plants, like humans, have "Immune System" that helps it fight infections. In a series of laboratory experiments, researchers found out that plants are able to fight infections by secreting beneficial chemicals from the soil through it's roots.

The finding quashes the misperception that plants are “sitting ducks”--at the mercy of passing pathogens--and sheds new light on a sophisticated signaling system inside plants that rivals the nervous system in humans and animals.

“Plants are a lot smarter than we give them credit for,” says Bais from his laboratory at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.

“People think that plants, rooted in the ground, are just sitting ducks when it comes to attack by harmful fungi or bacteria, but we've found that plants have ways of seeking external help,” he notes.

She a psychology graduate and can write, type, drive a car, brush her hair and talk on her phone simply using her feet. She is also a former dancer and double black belt in TaeKwonDo. But above all, Jessica Cox is a motivational speaker and a license pilot. Yes, you read it right, this extraordinary no-arm lady is a pilot. Here's a video of her while flying a plane.

Veronica Robinson is a mother and breastfeeding advocate who breastfeed her children to extended periods. In this video, she is breastfeeding her eight year old child. Her older daughter was also breastfeed until the age of five. Scientist believe that extended breastfeeding helps the emotional and mental development of a child.
