Perfect Origami, V12 Engine Made from Paper

A perfect V12 engine made by Yee Job is made entirely from paper. He spent two year building it using the Japanese art Origami. This 63cm model, weighing just 1.5kg, has moveable parts which includes a crankshaft, a cooling fan, 12 rods and 12 pistons has 1978 individual pieces. If you want to build your own Origami V12, you can buy his for £80.

Traditional Origami only uses a small number of different folds, which can be combined in a variety of ways to make intricate designs.

But Yee, from Montreal, Canada, says it is right to call his model Origami, adding: "The Origami-style interior structure is applied everywhere in the engine.

Or he could sell it on ebay. Build one again and sell it again on ebay. Do this several times and he'll be a millionaire in no time.
